I was born and raised in Tulsa, OK where I attended Memorial High School. After my high school graduation in 1999, I moved to Fayetteville, AR to begin my college career as a Razorback at the University of Arkansas. In 2003, I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I stayed in Fayetteville an additional year to work as a campus missionary aide with Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship and then returned to my hometown to pursue physical therapy at OU-Tulsa. In 2007, I graduated with outstanding distinction from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center with my Master of Physical Therapy degree. With degrees in psychology and physical therapy, I feel I can offer a well-rounded approach to therapy.
As a Redbud employee, I have been mentored and have participated in many continuing education classes that have helped me gain manual skills to diagnose and treat many orthopedic injuries. I am currently working towards my certification for orthopedic manual therapy (COMT) through the IAOM. I have also received specific training to diagnose and treat vestibular and balance impairments such as vertigo. I strive to offer patients a holistic approach to achieving goals and improving overall quality of life through a combination of manual techniques, functional activities and therapeutic exercises.
In my free time, I lead a women's Bible study and love to participate in almost any outdoor activity including tennis and disc golf. I am currently in an amateur tennis league with the USTA and play in some tournaments in the Tulsa area.

I graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a Masters in Physical Therapy and I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Lubbock Christian University. In addition to being a physical therapist, I am also a national certified athletic trainer. I moved to Tulsa from Lubbock, Texas and joined the Redbud family in August of 2007. My orthopedic background from Texas Tech is of the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine, and I have attended courses from IAOM as well as from McKensie. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and two young children to whom I gladly devote my time in such activities as camping, and playing at the park.
Amy Benedict-Morris, PTA
I became a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2008 after attending Tulsa Community College and earning an Associates Degree in Applied Science. I immediately joined the Redbud family and have enjoyed working with a variety of patients in a land based and aquatic setting. I strive to design a program so your therapy experience is fun and educational.
I am a certified Aquatic Arthritis Program Instructor by the Arthritis Foundation. I have focused my continuing education in the field of aquatic therapy, treatments for chronic pain and more recently received comprehensive training in the Kinesio Taping Method. I have been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association & Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association since 2007.
In 2010, I married my best friend and have been extremely blessed with a large blended family. We stay very busy but in my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, camping and have been an active volunteer with Boy Scouts of America, Troop 999 in Broken Arrow since 2005.
