I graduated high school in 1996 after being taught at home by my mother who has a Master's in Education. I then attended Rogers State College in Claremore for two years with an interest in becoming a veterinarian. While in college, I ran marathons until I sustained a fractured hip. It was this injury and the rehabilitation that followed which interested me in pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy. Although it took many years of working during the day and going to classes at night, it has been worth the effort. I graduated from OU Health Sciences Center in May 2011 with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. My areas of interest include orthopedics and hand therapy. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and clinical skills over many years and plan to become a certified hand therapist.
My hobbies include spending time with my husband and two boys, horseback riding, camping, and running. I enjoy being around people and making them laugh as much as possible. My goal as a PT is to help people recover, prevent injuries, and have fun at the same time.
