Melanie Hurst, DPT
Clinical Manager
Melanie Hurst is a DPT, Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate, from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas. She is a native of Arkansas and began her Physical Therapy career in Tulsa. She has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, outpatient neuro and outpatient orthopedics. She enjoys working with a variety of diagnoses ranging from orthopedic impairments to neurological impairments and has had the opportunity to work with an internationally known physiatrist whose patients include Christopher Reeves.
Being physically fit is important to her and she has participated in a couple of sprint triathlons and has plan to compete in more. She also enjoys being outdoors and camping with her family in Arkansas.
Tia Cullen, PTA
Meet Glenpool's newest member, Tia Cullen. Tia graduated from Vinita High School in 2010. She attended NEO A&M college where she successfully completed the Physical Therapy Assistant program. She graduated on July 24th, 2012 with an Associates of Applied Sciences. She is originally from Muskogee but has lived in several different areas and calls Vinita home. She really enjoys working in an outpatient setting where she can work with patients with a variety of conditions. She also enjoys working with pediatric patients, where she has to think outside of the box. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, dancing, singing, riding horses, running, and hiking. On the weekends Tia volunteers her time to help prepare lessons for the women at Rose Rock Recovery Center. Tia is an active member at Cowboy Junction Christian Church. Her goal in life is to serve others with her life.
