Linzi Hightower, MPT, Clinic Director
I am an Owasso native and graduated from OHS in 2002. I could be considered a hybrid as I achieved my Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion from OSU and my Master's degree in Physical Therapy from OU in 2010. Prior to PT school, I worked at TCC Metro Fitness Center for a year as a para-fitness professional where I performed fitness assessments, developed workout plans, taught credit and group classes, directed intramurals, and managed faculty/staff incentive programs. I always knew I wanted to stay in Owasso and raise a family in this town since my childhood was so wonderful and Redbud gave that opportunity upon graduation from PT school.
My areas of interest include orthopedics, sports medicine, and spine. I have completed many orthopedic based continuing education courses through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine. My husband, Trey, and I continue to reside in Owasso and enjoy going to the lake any chance we get. Other hobbies include spending time with family, participating in Rejoice Church, and playing any sports related activity. I enjoy being around other people and my goal is to try to make PT as enjoyable as possible while meeting the patient's goals along the way.
Glenna Sinkhorn, PTA
My name is Glenna Pipins. I received an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy in 1985 from Tulsa Junior College. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of treatment settings, such as, acute care, schools, work-hardening, long-term care and out-patient facilities. I have worked in Owasso in out-patient physical therapy where I have enjoyed providing individualized treatment programs and interacting with our clientele on a personal basis in order to best meet their needs. I have taken several courses in lumbar stabilization in conjunction with core-strengthening and enjoy applying these principles to exercise programs to correct faulty movement patterns and improve functional mobility. I have also received training in aquatic relaxation techniques such as Ai Chi, Watsu, and Jahara along with aquatic back rehab which incorporates balance and neuromuscular retraining.
