Emily was born and raised in green country Oklahoma with her parents and older brother. After high school, Emily attended Connors State College in Warner Oklahoma, graduating with an Associates of Science degree. She then moved on to attend the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa. In 2006, she graduated summa cum laude with her Master’s in Physical Therapy. Emily has enjoyed working in outpatient orthopedics ever since.
Emily is very proud to have earned her Certified Hand Therapist credential in 2013. This means she had a minimum of 5 years clinical experience, 4,000 hours or more of direct practice in hand therapy, and successfully passed a comprehensive exam of advanced clinic skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation. Other areas of interest include manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, and spinal rehabilitation. Emily loves that Physical Therapy is a meaningful profession that allows her to work with and impact people of all ages, backgrounds, personalities, and difficulties.
Emily and her husband love spending time with their two beautiful children. They enjoy participating in sprint triathlons, hiking, biking, snow skiing, lake fun, beach vacations, and home improvement projects.
Earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Medical and Molecular Biology from Rogers State University, Sue-Z was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Award from the Chemistry department. Upon graduation, she enrolled in the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Tulsa Community College.
Sue-Z is a member of the OPTA and the APTA, and achieved Advanced Proficiency in Orthopaedics through APTA. She enjoys treating post-op orthopaedics, balance training, athletes returning to sport, and stabilization for the lumbar spine.
Lauren HebenspergerPT, DPT
Lauren grew up in Mannford, OK, and attended John Brown University in Siloam Spring, Arkansas. There she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine. During her time at John Brown, she played on the women’s basketball team and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Lauren then attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) in Tulsa and graduated with outstanding distinction while receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Lauren received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Clinical Performance and was a member of the Alpha Eta Society while at OUHSC. Lauren has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 2015.
Lauren currently resides in Kiefer, OK with her husband, Zach, and their chocolate lab, Arlo. She and her husband are leaders of the youth group at their church. In her spare time, she enjoys doing CrossFit, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with Zach and Arlo.
